Timing

The earlier we know your dates, the more likely we can pair your place with a founder whose cohort, team, or meetings are nearby. Late is still worth telling us — plans shift, and matches happen up to the week of move-in.

Before you host

Your responsibilities as a host

Stays under 30 nights are short-term rentals in San Francisco (Administrative Code Chapter 41A). Hosting them requires that you're the permanent resident of the unit and registered with both the Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector and the Office of Short-Term Rentals; unhosted stays are capped at 90 nights a year. If you don't live in the unit, the city doesn't permit stays under 30 nights there. For longer stays, check that your lease or HOA allows a guest or sublet. You're responsible for your own registration, insurance, and taxes.

Launch Quarters follows fair housing laws. We don't discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, familial status, disability, source of income, or any other protected characteristic. Every guest is matched on the same criteria: dates, purpose of the stay, group size, and identity verification.
